Briston is an independent French watchmaking brand created by Brice Jaunet in June 2013. Discover the origins of the brand’s creation, its history, its inspirations, and its achievements. This “British” spirit that the English have mastered to perfection, from the Oxford campuses to the edges of the polo fields, including rowing races.

A chic, casual and offbeat style quickly adopted in the United States from the 1950s. This sportswear style, also called “preppy”, seduced Ivy League students, starting with the most famous of them, the icon John F. Kennedy, and which made the success of the brands Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Gant and Brooks Brothers… This sporty-chic spirit is embodied in the work of shapes, colors, and materials of the first Briston collection. The Clubmaster thus innovates with its “tortoiseshell” acetate case, previously used in eyewear. A noble and natural material which gives Briston watches a unique look.
